Tour Operators: Padding their Tour Days

Is anyone else out there disgusted with the recent trend of tour operators padding the itineraries with non-tour days?  There seems to be an increase in the number of operators who claim the travel day or days to get to the start of their tours, whether included in their price or not, as part of their tour.  And then when they quote the per day price of the tour they include these bogus days as part of the calculation.

I think we’ve all gotten use to the scam of operators quoting, for example, their trips as 15 days, when it really means means 14 nights, knowing that neither the arrival day nor the departure day has any content to the tour.  Even this, in my opinion, is disingenuous.

What do you think?
